About the artist
(she/they)
I was born in 2002 in Belarus, Baranovichi, which inevitably led to me getting interested in moving somewhere else. I think my relationship with my motherlands is something that took nearly two decades to form and is finally ready to overtake my art. Though, now, having passed the 3 year mark since the beginning of my migration experience, I understand better than ever thedesire to work for my community inside and outside the country and dream of coming back some day and renew the Belarusian art scene.
At the present time my main mediums are
photography, videoart, poetry, installations and performances.
Main topics of my artistic activity and research:
gender, sexuality, body, nationality, languages
Currently I am living and working in Vilnius, Lithuania
Instagram is my main archive throughout the years -

PHOTOGRAPHY
I'm a self-taught photographer for 5 years already, though I've started to take the camera with me everywhere much earlier
There’s barely anything else that can stun me as much as the light does, most of all – in its golden gentle piercing form. This is the goal I’m following when I switch the camera on to take a picture or film a video – to search for the light and let others see it, either in its pure form or reflected in calm ethereal faces, tender hands and eyes of those I capture
VIDEOART
I am creating short films, montage films, informative news videos, interviews, video essays, commercial videos.
My main occupations in video production are editress and/or directress in team projects, but when it comes to my own projects I usually do all the work by myself, writing, filming, directingand editing the videos.

I was writing texts for more than a half of my life: naive school fiction and poems, academical essays, scenarios for shows and videos. I loved working with the words, but at the end of the day I prioritized the visual art sphere, moving writing to the side to serve as notes, markings of my mental health and descriptions.
But this year, it changed.
This August I designed and self-printed a book of my poems written in a year of living in the Netherlands. "A short guide to Dutch bread and being in love with a poet" is a letter both to lover and self, reflectory, honest and awkward. In the book, I let loose, my worries about gender, sexuality, nationality, war and traumas, keeping me in a loop of fearful stillness. Changes, loops, love and belonging – these are the main topics of my first poetry book.
The first test edition of 22 copies is sold out by now.
